Ivana Topalov is a lawyer with considerable experience in arbitration law, commercial law, and in juvenile criminal law.
Ivana started her legal career in County Court in Belgrade where she worked as an assistant to the judge, counsel and senior counsel. Even though she focused on different fields of law during this period, she developed a profound interest in juvenile delinquency.
As an attorney, she defends juveniles and represents minors as victims in criminal proceedings, but also practices criminal law by representing clients in cases that revolve around economic offences. Apart from that, she is highly experienced in foreign investment law and investment and commercial arbitration, and possesses vast knowledge in contract and torts law. She represents foreign and domestic businesses in bankruptcy proceedings, enforcement proceedings and proceedings before commercial courts.
She has published a number of articles concerning commercial law and juvenile delinquency law in renowned Serbian legal journals.
She is fluent in Serbian, English and French.
